Royal Artillery Service of Remembrance Hyde Park 2014

The Royal Regiment, Veterans and members of the public paid their respects on Sunday 9th November at the Royal Artillery Memorial, Hyde Park. Over 400 Veterans joined serving soldiers from  1st Regt RHA, 12 Regt RA and Kings Troop RHA at the Royal Artillery Memorial. 

The service was organised by the Royal Artillery Sergeant Major WO1 R Bramall and his team with assistance from the Royal Artillery Association and the wider Regimental community.  The service was led by the Venerable John Blackburn the Honourable Regimental Chaplin. This was attended by members of the Royal Regiment, invited guests and members of the public. 

Following the Service Kings Troop lead the march past of serving soldiers, standards and veterans. The Master Gunner St James Park, Gen Sir Timothy Granville-Chapman GBE KCB was joined by Maj Gen J Milne CB and the Regt Col R Lee to take the salute.
