3rd Regiment Royal Horse Artillery is a Close Support Artillery Regiment, which has been based in Germany for 17 years but is now moving to Albemarle Barracks just outside Newcastle-upon-Tyne. In one of his final acts as a regular officer, Prince Harry unveiled the Bastion Memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum on Thursday 11 June 2015. The Royal Artillery cycling cohort in RSA Larkhill organised a great event. The roads were closed to traffic and had been swept to within an inch of its life. Having been a cold, damp start and not ideal racing conditions the afternoon brought some sunshine and conditions were perfect - so with the hay bales strategically placed the competition got underway. The race kicked off with the novice race and ladies race going together.

Supporting Gunners............this is what we do at the RA Charitable Fund and the RA Association. In fact it is the bedrock that holds the Regimental Family together. Comradeship and support on all levels. The RAA Facebook page has now been running for some time and we have over 5000 members comprising of Gunners and supporters of the Royal Regiment and its Veterans.
