How the RA Charitable Fund can assist...
Daisy's Story - How we can help
Eva's Story - How we can help
The RA Charitable Fund financially supports all officers and soldiers and their dependants whether serving or retired, widowed or divorced who are in need.
We are here to help all members of the Regimental family in need, whatever the cause and at any time in their lives. There is no geographical limit and we can assist Gunners, Gunner Veterans and their dependants throughout the world.
We provide through eligibility criteria, and based on humanity, reality and flexibility speedy assistance to all members of the Gunner Family; we judge each case on its own merits.
If you would like more information or think that you might benefit from out assistance then please contact us or follow the links on our supporters page.
Turning what you do into nationally recognised qualifications
The Royal Artillery Centre for Personal Development (RACPD) provides nationally recognised qualifications to the Royal Artillery, other Service personnel and the wider Defence community, including veterans and dependants. It offers those in the Gunners over 40 civilian vocational and professional qualifications to improve their skills and knowledge now, and in preparation for their next career. It has learning centres at all of the regular RA regiments and each learning centre is staffed by qualified tutors and supported by an in-house Personal Development Advisor. There are opportunities for work-based and online learning and some courses are free, subsidised or, as an approved MOD ELC provider, you can use your learning credits to offset the costs. So whether it is your first step towards a new career, improving a skill or achieving a qualification, see the website for more details and don’t put off your personal development any longer.
